Les Voix du marronnage dans la litterature francaise du XVIIIe siecle

This work seeks to understand the positions of resistance adopted by African slaves faced with the colonial system of slavery. Given the lack of direct testimonials, it exhumes these stifled words by analysing their reconstitution in eighteenth-century French texts written between 1730 and 1792.
