This French-language book aims to define scientific heritage from different angles: botany, paleontology, prehistory, archaeology, anthropology, and ethnology. Scientific collections are also historical objects, and from this interdisciplinary perspective the authors demonstrate the complexity of these collections’ histories as well as the variety and magnitude of collection conservation issues that must be addressed.
