Providence Klin, an orphan from Queens in the United States of America lives a life of loneliness and solitude. She finds peace and joy in watching the moon rise every evening. It fills some emptiness in her and gives her inner peace. It becomes her hobby as every day she would sit outside waiting impatiently for the rise of the moon.

She is kidnapped and taken to a faraway place where she is supposed to be sold into slavery. But while on the ship on her way to where she was going to be sold, she struggles to use her feminine side to her advantage but to no avail. However despite her ill luck, she finds true love amidst her struggles and troubles.
