I got home soaked in rain and there she stood staring straight at me as I peered in. I could tell from the looks on her face that she suspected something. She walked away from me as I approached her to kiss her.

“You put on a new perfume Micheal…were you with her?” she spoke softly and I could see clearly in the midst of the mild darkness that she’d been crying while I was gone.
