My First Date

While I was chatting with Chantal and Solange on the lawn outside, my name resonated from inside the lobby and seconds later, Lionel’s name echoed and sent chills all over my body. I was thrilled by the MC’s arrangement… we had to do the opening of the dance floor for the occasion.

Lionel walked up to me while I was standing at the center of the room. Thousands of expectant eyes stared at me as he held my hands, placed them on his shoulders and started moving his legs slowly as we danced.

My head was down when we were dancing because I was moved by his looks. He would try to adjust my head to face him but I didn’t want him to do that... I was shy.

Lionel started tilting closer while we danced. I was scared but admired his body language.
