“Father why? Why didn’t you tell me I was the reason why mother died?”Catherina burst out crying.

“I’m sorry my dear, I didn’t want you to blame yourself for her death”

“But it’s me, it’s my entire fault,” she died because of me, am so worthless.”

She could not hold any longer. No matter the plea from her father to make her understand that, it wasn’t her fault. She blamed herself for everything saying if she had not been born; her mother would not have died.

That was true but she was just as helpless as her mother was. She could not get herself to come to terms with the fact that she was the cause of her own problems.

She felt sad and lonely not having the love of a mother but it was all because of her.
