Jeffrey persuaded Leonille and their 22 year old son to return home despite vehement denial from his mother.

Jeffrey was the only surviving son of Mrs. Lydia Peters, who was a widow with another son who had died from lung cancer.

The late Simon Peters had died leaving behind a wife who was Jeffrey’s ex-girlfriend.

In order to keep the relationship between the two families, Alma was asked to stay back so that she could work things out between her and Jeff who was now married with a son to another woman… all of this against his mother’s wish.

In favor of for the relationship, Mrs. Lydia Peters insists on Jeff throwing out his wife for Alma.

Alma on the other hand, is determined to destroy Jeff’s home in order to get him back.
