Christophe Beraet recounts the world in a singular, complex and colourful language. "I need total isolation. Nothing must disturb me, nor disrupt my seclusion: I turn off the TV, the radio, the telephone and other communication media, I discard all external images and switch off the music. Each painting is a milestone set in the unknown."
