In life, you always have a choice. Not always a say, but always un choice. When Jesse saw the news of the attack on the television, he thought he was asleep. He tought it was another one of this strange dreams, the kind with too much blood, and too much death, and a bit where a clown inevitably chases after him. He didn't remember falling asleep, but it made more sens than the events unfolding on screen. You never think it could happen in your country, in your city, to your parents. But it had, and, suddenly, he was alone. He was alone, and the world was big, bad, and hungry. He was alone, with no friends and no family, and people had teeth sharper than their knives, and hearts harder than their knuckles. When the world came tumbing down around him, Jesse jesse had a choice: live or die.
