Receptio Copernicana: Texte zur Aufnahme der Copernicanischen Theorie. Kommentare und deutsche Ubersetzungen

This volume contains commentaries, annotations, and a German translation of the texts published in Volume VIII, 1 on the reception and dissemination of Copernican theory in the 16^th century. In addition to analyzing the works of Georg Joachim Rheticus (1514–1574) on heliocentric cosmology, it provides extensive interpretation of the De revolutionibus commentaries by Erasmus Rheinhold (1511–1553) and Nicolaus Mulerius (1564–1630).
