Multi-Component Crystals: Synthesis, Concepts, Function

The purpose of this volume is to collate contributions in the theoretical and practical aspects of multi-components crystals, defined as crystals with at least two different molecules, to provide a timely and contemporary overview of the state of the art of this vital aspect of crystal engineering. The control of the way molecules aggregate in crystals is the primary concern of crystal engineers with motivations ranging from developing metal-containing materials for e.g. catalysis, gas storage, photophysical properties, and often for organic species to enhance bioavailability, and for the fundamental design of supramolecular aggregates.
