Glaubensempfehlungen: Eine anthropologische Sichtung zeitgenossischer Predigtkultur

Preachers have something to say. They have visions of what faith means and what it is good for. Anyone who hears a sermon seeks edifying impulses. Inspired, affected and more upright than before, we want to leave church. Despite this ideal conditions, preaching culture does not always show its friendly face. This study shows why that is the case. The author has anthropologically, semantically and homiletically analysed almost forty sermons, and explains the structures that contribute to the fact that 'normal listeners' often feel depressed after church service.
