Alongside the better-known major works, Der Stricker is also thought to be the author of some 170 minor works, which have been made available in various publications based on differing editing procedures. With one exception ("Karl der Große"), the present index covers all published texts in one volume. Headword-organization, homograph separation and the coverage both of individual works and different editions make for a reference work that is as clear in layout as it is easy to use. It is designed not only as an aid to research on Der Stricker but as a tool for linguistic and literary research in general.
