Nikolaus Ludwig Von Zinzendorf: Bibel Und Bibelgebrauch: Band 2: Zinzendorfs Ubersetzung Des Neuen Testaments, Evangelien Und Apostelgeschichte

Count Nikolaus Ludwig von Zinzendorf (1700-1760), founder of the Moravian Church, thought it necessary to publish a modern translation of the New Testament. For this purpose he compared Luther's translation with the Greek Original, newly edited by Johann Albrecht Bengel. His first attempt of 1739 caused some controversy and therefore he brought out a new edition in 1744/46. In volume 2 of this edition, Zinzendorf's translation and its revision is printed together with Luther's translation and the Greek Original in 4 columns.
