The latest edition of the International Journal for Egyptian Archaeology and Related Disciplines contains ten summaries or preliminary reports on recent excavations or research followed by nine papers which form the proceedings of the SCIEM 2000 Late Bronze Age Conference held in Vienna in 2003. These include papers on New Kingdom amphorae, ancient Gabala, LBI pottery from Tell 'Arqa in Lebanon, Egyptian pottery in Canaan, feline hunters in the Tell el Dab'a paintings, Mycenaean pottery in the Levant and the royal palace of Qatna. Two papers in German, the rest in English.
