Heartbeat of the Forest

The year is 2102 and the world is not what it used to be. To put it simply, the worst projections weren’t severe enough. When scientists reported back in the 2010s that they didn’t know the full extent of the consequences that Earth’s citizens would eventually endure due to their irresponsible lifestyles of the past, they really had no idea.

In a world where "nature" no longer exists and Earth itself seems to have stopped breathing, there is one individual who still believes and is willing to take the ultimate risk to find the truth and to rekindle the connection with the natural world that for so long humans have pushed away from.
