The Austrian painter Michael Neder is considered to be a representative of Biedermeier although his oeuvre does not fit easily into this spectrum of styles and motifs. The Belvedere in Vienna has now for the first time dedicated an exhibition to him. The oil paintings and drawings reveal his range as an artist.
