Lucas Cranach der Jungere: Entdeckung eines Meisters

No later than 1550 Lucas Cranach the Younger became the head of the world-famous workshop of his father (whose name he shared). He proved to be very successful and resourceful. He further expanded the repertoire of popular Cranach subjects, eternalizing reformers, princes and wealthy citizens with his pictorial creations and setting new standards for the courtly portrait.
