Lucas Cranach: Im Gotischen Haus in Worlitz

From the very beginning, Leopold III Frederick Franz Duke of Anhalt-Dessau collected Old German and Netherlandish art in the Gotisches Haus in Worlitz Park, which was built starting in 1773. The collection included 30 important works by Lucas Cranach the Elder and the Younger and by their workshops. A collection of far-reaching political and religious significance is now being re-created.
