Markus L�pertz: Symbols and Metamorphosis

This publication showcases sculptures, paintings, drawings and sketches by German artist Markus Lüpertz (born 1941), concentrating on his series of bronze sculptures produced for his show at the Hermitage in St Petersburg. These trace the continuity of ancient gods and heroes into the present.
