Focus Green

Every year, this highly regarded competition organized by the Design Center Stuttgart presents the latest design trends from a variety of industries, with products focusing on a topic that changes from year to year. In 2008, the competition's topic will be 'Focus Green'. Today, sustainable development, climate protection and the conservation of our natural resources are increasingly the subject of public debate, and play a crucial role in political and economic decisions. This is why there is a need for design and development that illustrate and implement creative solutions and innovations for more environmentally friendly products. The catalogue will feature all the award-winners from the following areas: Production, medicine, rehabilitation, geriatrics, bathrooms, kitchen, household, interiors, lighting, communication, optical equipment, leisure, outdoor, architecture and public space, installations technology and controls, transport and traffic.
