Die kulttopographische Inschrift am Sanktuar des Tempels von Edfu

The inscription on the outside of the sanctuary walls of the temple house of Horus at Edfu is arranged as a Geographical Procession and concerns cult topography. It is of such great importance because it provides detailed information about the elements of local theology and the cults observed in the 42 Old Egyptian districts. The study offers a complete translation plus commentary of the inscription - also taking into consideration papyri that contain the same kind of information.
