Janowski-Indian Defense: A Chess Works Publication

The Janowski-Indian (1 d4 Nf6 2 c4 d6 3 Nc3 Bf5) has enjoyed the patronage of such strong chess players as Mikhail Tal, Jan Timman, Bent Larsen, Larry Christiansen, John Fedorowicz and Kamran Shirazi. In the past few years the popularity of the line has grown tremendously. This is a solid variation of the Old Indian which often leads to King's Indian type positions which have not been heavily analyzed.
