War of myths. Memory of the Decembrists at the turn of the millennium.

The reformatting of the memory of the Russian people at one of its most explosive areas - the December 14 uprising - is being investigated. It is produced by Kremlin technologists with the active assistance of Orthodox monarchists. The pragmatist of Putin's regime is obvious. To strengthen it, it is necessary to discredit Herzen's "metaphor of rebellion," through which in 1917 and in 1991 the irremovable Russian government was changing. Dicreditation proceeds with complete non-resistance of the liberal "layer of society". Her indifference to her "basic myth" testifies that the history of the Russian intelligentsia is coming to an end.
