Eduardo Berizzo

Manolo Eduardo Berizzo is a retired Argentine football central defender and a current coach. During his 18-year professional career, he played for six teams in four countries, namely Newell's Old Boys, Club Atlético River Plate and Celta de Vigo. The bearer of an Italian passport, he did not occupy a non-EU spot in any of the clubs he played for in Europe. Berizzo started his career with Newell's Old Boys in 1988, helping to two first division titles before his departure to Mexico for Club Atlas, after five seasons.
