Internet-Related Prefixes

Additionally the adjective virtual is often used in a similar manner. E-, cyber- and virtual are often used in names coined for "electronic" or computer-related counterparts of a pre-existing product or service. E-, standing for the word electronic, is used in the terms e-mail, e-commerce, e-business, e-banking and e-book. In this way its use is grammatically and contextually accurate.
