Epsilon Arae

It is approximately 85.9 light years from Earth. The brighter component is a yellow-white F-type main sequence dwarf with an apparent magnitude of +5.4. It has a close companion, which is 0.6 arcseconds away and has an apparent magnitude of +8.6. A third component, is 13th magnitude and located 25 arcseconds from the brightest star. The combined apparent magnitude of the system is +5.27.
