The Development Report on China's Strategic Emerging Industries (2016)

This book is a research report by Chinese Institute of Engineering Development Strategies for the general public and decision makers. It analyzes the general situation of China’s strategic emerging industries, summarizes the current status of emerging industries in some major countries and regions and their macro strategies and policy measures, and concludes the lessons China could learn from them. The introduction focuses on the status quo, main technology, strategic layout and the policy focuses of the seven areas of strategic emerging industries. Based on the cases of development in Beijing, Jiangsu, Anhui, Guangdong, Shenzhen, and Hefei, the current situation, effective methods, main problem and constrains of those regions are discussed. The current policy and the future policy focus of the strategic emerging industries are the main concern of this book.
