Chinese for Foreigners

The textbook is intended for foreigners and their families who are learning Chinese.It is divided into four sections:

Part I Basic Knowledge. This section provides a brief introduction to Chinese phonetics and grammar.

Part II Daily Conversations. This section contains 44 lessons including 44 everyday situations.

Part III Practical Sentence Patterns. This section contains 225 sentence patterns which are the most basic and practical in the Chinese language.

Part IV Reading Column. In this section, 12 short Chinese articles are selected to enable the learners to know more about Chinese culture.
