Chinese Civilization A Reader

Since general readers cannot devote their life to the undertaking while declaring their attitudes towards tradition, and experts have to hold on to the niche area they pursue based on modern academic labor division, it is necessary to systematically draft titles that involve all important points, and invite experts in all aspects to describe a panorama of the Chinese civilization within an acceptable length. Under the current circumstances where we have not conduct a large-scale "Annales School" style research on tradition, this is at least the only feasible alternative for the moment. Though the internal structure of a civilization system is still yet to be clearly illustrated, readers can have a general idea of each links of the traditional culture through reading the book, instead of catching one part and losing another, or relying on their own subjective orientation.
