General History of China, Volume One

The book takes three total different ways to turn Chinese traditional history book into historical encyclopedia by reducing subjective judgement, expanding the contents from traditional small-peasant economy, family dynasty system, threat from northern nomadic people and traditional Confucianism orthodoxy and adding important historical events of agriculture, science, handicraft, culture, tax system, legal system and bureaucracy.
