Economic Freedom of the World 2007 Annual Report

As the most comprehensive index of economic freedom in the world, this annual report ranks 141 jurisdictions and countries according to a degree of personal choice, voluntary exchange, freedom to compete, and protection of person and property enjoyed by their citizens. Constructed under the leadership of the Fraser Institute and Nobel Laureate Milton Friedman, the report is the only index that uses reproducible measures appropriate for peer-reviewed research and it remains the most objective and accurate measure of economic freedom published by any organization to date.
