New Governance and Development: Challenges of Addressing Poverty and Inequality

As globalization progresses, this account attempts to critically understand the nature of new governance and identifies some of the key challenges it may pose by addressing key developmental problems, such poverty and inequality. With contributions from experts in academia, civil service, and the nongovernmental organization sector, it offers a cross-sectional perspective about the emerging paradigm and explores the three actors of development: state, market, and civil society.
