Health Care in Orissa: Issues of Public Financing and Service Delivery: An Exploratory Study

While economic growth has gained momentum in the last decade, the Indian health system is still facing multiple challenges in terms of increasing access and providing quality care to large sections of people. This book makes a modest attempt to unravel the operational and functional issues in the public health care system in Orissa, India—focusing on district sector spending and governance issues.
