The various sectors of India's economy - industry, finance, trade, transport, health, and education - have adopted information and communication technology (ICT) in a big way. Additionally, in recent years, India has emerged as the most preferred destination for the outsourcing of ICT services. In fact, the ICT industry has become India's premier growth engine, crossing significant milestones in terms of revenue growth, employment generation, and value creation.
