About the Author: Savita R.Bhave has, over the last three decades, made a name for himself as a leading biographer. His first biography that of Prin.N.G.Naralkar was hailed as a path breaking work. Since then, he has written the biographies of several prominent people: Lokmanya Tilak, Walchand Hirachand, Vinoba Bhave, S.L.Kirloskar, Annashab Shinde, G.P.Pradhan, And Dr.Neelkanth Kalyani. All these have been acclaimed by readers and critics. He has also compiled the institutional histories of The Life Insurance Corporation Of India, The United Western Bank and Venkateshwara Hatcheries Ltd.
An Economics and Law graduate, Mr.Bhave has handled PR and Publicity for several public and private sector organisations over the last 45 years, and is active in social and educational movements.
