This book asserts strongly that Devotion and Dedication in the field of education is being weakened and paralysed. The teaching fraternity is commercialised and getting trapped completely in the monetary aspect of education. Concern for social obligation and education of the poor and the weak is ignored. The Nobel ideas of great thinkers have no place in the present day education field. Education is only producing more jobless people. That education should work towards producing good human beings has been forgotten. The author also covers certain important issues in Contemplation of Society. Co-operation, tolerance, understanding, peace and love alone will be useful for humanity and the teachings of various religions and civilization since times immemorial should be cherished and nurtured for human social progress. About the Author: Advt.Raosaheb Shinde has been an eminent educationist, a great thinker, freedom fighter and renowned social worker. He has worked in several capacities such as a Senator and Chancellor's Nominee on the Executive Council of Pune University and Mahatma Phule Agricultural Unversity, Rahuri for Several years. He has also been a Vice Chairman of Rayat Shikshan Institute, Satara for the last 26 years. Besides this, he is the President of Indian Law Society, Pune. He is a recipient of various/honours such as Maharashtra Govt.'s Yashwantrao Chavan Marathi Vangmay Nirmiti Puraskar, Pune University's Jeevan Sadhana Gaurav Puraskar, Samajratna Puraskar and Samaj Vikas Lekhan Puraskar.
