Flow as a Resource

In Flow as a Resource, author Lisa Vivoll Straume investigates if and how the state of psychological flow can be used as a resource in organizational psychology. The 170 participants in this study represent occupations from a variety of fields. The results of this masters thesis indicate that goal setting can be a predictor of flow experiences at work. Implications regarding measurements of flow are discussed, and suggestions are made regarding the future research and applicability of the flow model.
