The Challenger 1 Main Battle Tank was Great Britain’s second purpose-designed Main Battle Tank and served as the spear point of the Royal Armored Corps for nearly 20 years. The Challenger 1 proved to be an excellent combat vehicle in Operation Granby after a controversial early career in the British Army, and it continues to serve the Jordanian army to the present day.
