The Age of Pericles: GREECE III

During the 5th century before Christ there was an effusion of arts, sciences and philosophy in Greece and especially in Athens. This is the century of Pericles, Herod and Socrates, of the great philosophers, historians and politicians who would later influence Roman culture and Western culture in general.
