The Empire of Charles V: SPAIN I

Charles I of Spain and V of Germany lived 58 years, from 1500 to 1558. During these years he relived Charlemagne's dream of uniting the whole of Europe. However, Germany disintegrated due to the conflict between the protestant princes and the Catholics, while the Ottomans laid siege on Vienna and France declared war on his empire.
