The conquest of the American peoples is partly told by the military interventions of colonizers such as Hernán Cortés and Francisco Pizarro. However, to understand the whole picture, we must take into account the series of religious, economic and political factors which led to peoples being completely wiped out as well as a new type of colonization using slaves from Africa.
