Incapable of overcoming a broken heart, Sebastian wallows in his failure with gleeful abandon. He divides his time between the useless pursuit of compulsively proofreading Blake’s translated poems, the detailed observation of the female gender, exploiting his friends’ patience, and breathing life into Ramón Ayala, his imaginary alter ego. Ayala, a loyal, strong and attractive argentine polo player, is oblivious to the absurd fictional world created to comfort defeated fools.
