Tono, the youngest of his brothers and sisters, is smalleven for a mouse. He is so small, in fact, that his mother won’t let him go outside and play for fear that he’ll hurt himself. One day, his grandmother comes up with an ingenious plan: she wraps him up in cotton before sending him outdoors. The cotton, however, attracts some unwanted attention, and Tono is forced to return home without it. He feels much bigger and braver, though, and is ready to tell his mother that he can take care of himself.
