Ortiz Echagüe: Photographs 1903-1964

Between 1903 and 1964, when he laid down his camera for good, Ortiz Echagüe (1886–1980) documented a vanishing, pre-industrial, rural Spain with heroic diligence, traveling thousands of miles to photograph communities and ways of life on the verge of extinction.
