Cattolici e Massoneria: Un dialogo necessario

Are Catholic faith and Freemasonry compatible with each other? This tricky issue is debated today more than ever, after Pope Francis showed some efforts towards reconciliation. Rome warns his churchgoers not to enter the Masonic institutions, but the positions taken by the Vatican often clash with openings at the local level. There have been problems about the sacraments, about the opinions expressed by the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, and charges of relativism and syncretism. The author invites us to treat the issue with an open mind in order to start a clear confrontation, which could lead to the path of mutual understanding.
