It was Luisa Baccherucci who, in 1944, raised doubts about Bronzino's authorship of the lovely Portrait of the Lady with a Cameo which was first displayed in the Uffizi under this title in 1675, along with the assets of the estate of Cardinal Leopoldo de'Medici.
