Antonio Ciccone: Body conscious

The catalog of the exhibition held from 4th to 30th May 2017 at the Accademia delle Arti del Disegno in Florence reproduces 56 graphic works by the Italian artist born in San Giovanni Rotondo (Foggia). "Antonio Ciccone", as Cristina Acidini writes, "goes through the proportions of the body, the performance of the movements, and even the more ambitious perspectives, as those seen in the nudes by Annibale Carraci in the Galleria Farnese and by Caravaggio in the ceiling of Casino Ludovisi."
