Joachim Koester : Of Spirits and Empty Spaces

Starting in the mid-1990s, Danish artist Joachim Koester (born 1962) developed an archive-based art in which historical research fuses with personal and fictive narratives. His films, photos and installations, surveyed in this volume, reexamine forgotten histories and failed utopias.
