Time, one of the most important motifs in the Book of Revelation, is also a widely discussed theme among its commentators. The present work takes up a study of the term hemera which has a significant role in the book, for a new appraisal of the temporal element in the theological vision of its author. Based on the exegetico-theological study of this term within the progressively unfolding structure of the book, it is proposed that John presents in his narrative a unified theological vision of the days of man and God's Day and that he exhorts Christians to participate in the divine transformation of history.
